Anna (Annelie) Schuetz of Wurtsboro died Monday, October 10, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Wayne, NJ. She was 80. The Daughter of Heinrich and Elizabeth Froelich, Annelie was born in Bad-Reichenhall, Germany. She came to the United States in 1959 and worked for many years in New York City as a Fashion Designer before buying The County Line Restaurant in Spring Glen, NY. She was a huge part in the restaurant's success. She was also a devoted wife, loving mother and nurturing grandmother. After her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, tending to her flowers and spending time by the pool. She was also an avid sports fan, and we would often find her by the TV cheering on her favorite teams. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Ulli; her daughter Angela Platt & her husband Bruce; her grandchildren Gabrielle Alisa Platt and Bruce Blake Platt; a sister Edeltraut and & her husband Ferdinand Egenhofer; nephew Christian; and niece Carola; Aunt Muckerl Hartl; cousins Katie and Wickerl, all in Germany; 3 sisters-in law; Christel Niederhaeuser, Ingrid Stratmann, nephew Dirk and niece Annette, Heidi Schuetz, nephews Torsten, and Holger, all in Germany; and many more. In lieu of visitation or services the family will hold a celebration of her life at a later date.
