RIck was one of the first people we met when we purchased our house up here in Westbrookville. Salt of the earth personified.
I remember Rick's handshake, his help (too many times to count) with things too big for me to handle and his inside scoop on what was going on or worth checking out. This news comes, albeit late, as a blow to me and a loss. I will definitely miss him with lots of local reminders to satisfy his mark. Sincere condolences to Deb and the family which we always loved running into.

I am the sister of Mark Robohm, who owns a house on Knobb Hill Road. I stayed there for 9 months in 2010, and Rick always kept an eye on me and on the house when I wasn't there. He and my partner Ewan came to know each other, and Ewan, a professional photographer, took a beautiful portrait of Rick in his workshop years ago. At the beginning of 2016, Rick welded something for Ewan so that he and Mark could build a ramp for their friend Ian, who had become paralyzed in a freak accident and was about to return home from the hospital. As one might expect of Rick, he refused payment for his services. He was a good neighbor, one who we sometimes saw driving up Skinner Road or at the post office, always friendly and generous. We haven't seen him and his red truck in a long time, and now we know why. Ewan and I send our deepest condolences to his wife, kids, and grandchildren.

I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. May God almighty, father of tender mercies and all comfort continue to strengthen you all (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). How eager we all are to see the fulfillment of Gods promise to completely remove death, tears, mourning, outcry and pain (Revelation 21:4). The Bible also provides assurance of the resurrection hope for our dead loved ones (John 5:25). May these promises from God bring you comfort. You can learn more about Gods purposes at www.jw.org

Dear Debbie and Family-
Although I never met your husband, he must have been an awesome guy to have you as his wife! I am so sorry for your great loss. Humans can never understand why God takes the good ones and leaves us behind with so many questions. I pray that you all will be comforted by friends and family members and remember the best of times.
I love you and miss you.
Your friend, Judy Moore

We were very sad to hear of Rick's death. He had a big heart and helped dad a lot on Red Top. Our condolences to Debbie and the rest of the family.
