Dear Claudia, Nick & families:
I can say that there is only one mother. When she leaves us there is a part of us that goes with her. A part that we cannot replace in any way. A wound that never really heals. Needless to say I haven't been in touch with Ann Marie while she was ill, but hearing from Claudia kept me abreast of her Ann Marie's illness and the heartache Claudia, Nick and their families faced along the way. Having lost my mom many years ago only brought that empty feeling to llight again. Not that you ever forget her and the tears of laughter and smiles from memories. It just opened up an old wound.
There are no words to ease the pain that you are feeling now. However keep in mind that you now have a special guardian angel watching over you..
