My deepest condolences on your loss. It is perhaps one of the hardest trials of anyone's life to lose a child. I cannot imagine the pain. From all that I have seen and read, Alexis was extremely special and dealt with her illness bravely. May God keep her forever in the palm of his hand. God be with you all.

To Autum and her family I am truely sorry for your loss. Lexi was a very special young lady and I looked forward to seeing her smile everyday. I will miss her dearly and wish I could see her again but I know she is at peace now. Lexi I know we will see each other again but until that time take these with you xoxoxoxoxo.

From the time we met Lexi at Maria Ferrari 2 years ago, we knew she was strong, courageous, beautiful, the whole package. Her family was so supportive of her and caring for others that were in the hospital and/or in the Ronald McDonald house at the time. My granddaughter Shayla, who was in for her 3rd heart surgery often asked how Lexi and her sister Autum were doing. When I told her Lexi had gone to Heaven, Shayla's response was "well, now she is with Jesus"... Indeed Lexi is an angel now and is watching over all of her friends, family and I am sure all the patients she met through the last few years.
Her spirit will live on through all of the memories you all have collected and I am honored to have known Lexi albeit a very short time. We last saw her a month ago in the PICU right before she went home, and she still had that beautiful smile.
Peace be with all of you during this time... I will be praying for you during her service tomorrow and beyond.
