Obituary of Jacqueline Marie Durr

Jacqueline Marie Durr of Bloomingburg (formerly of Brodheadsville, PA and Monroe, NY), a retired school bus driver for the Monroe Woodbury Central School District, and a reference research clerk at Western Pocono Library in Brodheadsville, Pa. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 83 years of age. The daughter of the late Leonard P. Seaton and Marie Toutloff Seaton, she was born December 31, 1930 in Brooklyn , NY. She was the widow of Ronald J. Durr who predeceased her on September 21, 2012. and brother Leonard P Seaton and sister Gail M Mishik . She enjoyed her time with her swim aerobic friends. Jacqueline also loved her volunteer time with PVEN as the representative for Christ Hamilton United Lutheran Church in Scotia, PA. She is survived by three sons: Mitchell & his wife Melissa of Bloomingburg, Douglas & his wife Christine of Apex, NC and James of Shohola, PA; and eight grandchildren: Christopher and wife Lauren, of Middletown Jeremy and partner Cindy of Beacon NY Eamon and partner Ruth, of Binghamton , NY , Audrey and partner Anthony of Fla, Andrea and husband Bryan of Wurtsboro ,and Kaitlyn of Wurtsboro, Morgan and Lauren; and great grandchildren Machenzie Jean, Jackson Robert and Atman Otto. Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, February 23 from 4-7pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Graveside services and burial will be held on Monday, February 24 at 10am at the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery, Old Route 17 in Bloomingburg.
