Some of my fondest memories are of Aunt Jackie. She was never the type of adult that made you, as as a child, not feel like a child but rather validated you fully as a person in every way. She and my mom, Gail, did so much together with us kids including Thanksgiving and Easter dinners, beach trips to the Jersey shore and Great adventure amusement park in the summer and random visits just because they could as they lived so close to each other. I preferred to sit at the table talking with them because she was so kind. She encouraged me greatly after my mom passed away for which I shall forever be grateful.
And her love of cats was something I feel she passed along to me in abundance and the funniest thing is my earliest memories of her DO involve cats! We were all truly blessed to have had her in our family and I personally know my life was made better because of her presence in it.

I remember Jackie from the library when I first moved to PA. And then I joined the staff and we became close friends. I cherish memories from those days and the time since I moved from PA. We quilted together at the church in Effort, went to ACMoore (CSMoore to her) together, went out to eat, laughed a lot. She even brought peacock feathers on the return bus trip from NYC to visit Robin, for her cats and mine. She gave our precious little dog, Scruffy, a stray found by Christine to us. She had a kind heart and was a good friend. I cherish my memories of her and there are many. My condolences to your family, I know she loved you all immensely.

To The Durr family
The entire Esposito Family would like to send condolence's to you on this the passing of your Mother
Being your neighbor and friends in Monroe there were many times that can be recalled in the many years we lived next door to each other. We grew up in a time when being a neighbor was a valued obligation. Knowing that outside the family there were others that you could count on anytime .
Mrs Durr was like a mother to me, The door was always open the cookie jar was always just a "May I have one" away the endless rides to church and bowling and so many other things that I am leaving out
Now this wonderful lady ,mother , neighbor, has went home to our maker she will be missed but not forgotten she will hold a special place in my heart and my brothers .
God Bless her now and always until we all meet again .
with Deep sympathy

To my cousins, James, Mitch and Doug and their families, Rob and I are so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother Jackie. My side of the family sends their regrets as well. As you know she was a 2nd mother to me having lost my mother, her sister Gail when I was only 19. Jackie and I traveled to London and Paris twice and Rob and I had great fun taking her on trips and bringing her to all sorts of fun places in NYC. She loved her Cat shows and her tea shops. I am so glad that I was able to bring her places and do things with her that she was unable to do on her own. My fave Auntie will be very missed.
