Obituary of Lorraine Haring

Lorraine Haring of Wurtsboro, daughter of the late Josephine & Sebastian Sieron passed away on September 19, 2011 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was born in Fulton N.Y. She is survived by her husband of fifteen years Victor Haring, two sons: Richard Dashnau of Houston, TX and Edward Dashnau Sr. & his wife Sharon of Shawangunk, N.Y. A daughter Lorelei Riehle & her husband Joseph of Wurtsboro, N.Y.. Two grandchildren: Christopher Riehle & his wife Stephanie, and Edward Dashnau Jr.. Several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Lorraine was a longtime board member of the Bashakill Association. A former president of the Ave Maria Guild. She also had a successful career as an Avon Sales Manager. Lorraine had many accomplishments throughout her life. In her last years she was dedicated to preserving the Bashakill Wetlands, an area that gave her great joy, and peace. She will be greatly missed by her family, and loved ones. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 23 at 11:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 180 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with Fr. Peter Madori officiating. Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Wurtsboro. Memorial contributions can be made to the Bashakill Association.
