I regret that I never had the privilege of meeting Lorrie in person, but from conversations we had on the phone and correspondences we shared, I grew to love her very much. I will always cherish the cross necklace she gave me to show her gratitude for taking care of Rick when he had hip replacement surgery, and I will never eat pierogi's again without thinking of her. Lorrie, thank you for Rick and for raising such a wonderful son, may you rest in peace.
