Thank you grandpa for always being a father to me! For always being patient & kind. For all the memories we have together like, you picking & dropping me off from school, listening to oldies 101.1, swimming @ palm springs and @ the club house, playing with your CBC Radios in the office & garage, going out to dinner, sitting on your lap when meals were over @ your home, you showing me your thumb trick, taking me to Blockbusters to rent videos when I would spend the night @ your house, making me read the "funnies" in the newspaper in the mornings, walking around your neighborhood in Port Hueneme, CA, taking me to get my drivers permit & license and seeing your face when I finally past my test!! Christmas @ your home was the best, you playing Christmas music while handing out presents, even when you rearranged grandma's selves in the kitchen and you being there after my cancer surgery! There's so many more memories I will never forget. When my oldest son Benni Vreeland Luis was born, and he would go visit with you, you would play trains with him! He remembers you and I will never let him forget what an amazing man you are! He loves trains & reading just like you! Benni will carry your last name & pass it on to his kids in the future so you live on! My baby Eli Luis that will be a year this month also took after you in ways! I wish you could have meet him & spent more time with me & my family! I'm sorry I wasn't there to kiss you good bye, but you are always & forever in my heart! I will share all of our memories with my boys and tell them about you! May God bless you & you rest in peace! I love you Grandpa & words could never express my feelings!
