Obituary of Robert L Zangla

Robert L Zangla passed away on a Friday, September 6, 2024 at Garnett Health Medical in Middletown, NY at the age of 58, surrounded by his loving family.

The son of Diana Reynolds; Rob was born in Port Jefferson, NY on April 2,1966.

He was a loving son, husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend to many. He leaves behind his wife Heather; their three daughters: Reagan Leigh, Morgan and Taylor. Rob is survived by his mother Diana, four brothers Chris, Jeff (Susan), Brad (Stephanie), Mark, three grandchildren, his godniece, several nieces and nephews as well as his dog Pepper.

Rob received a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and followed with a Law Degree from Albany Law. Rob move to Monticello from Vermont in 1999, to take on the role of a prosecutor for the Sullivan County District Attorney office where he continued a successful career for many years. Rob recently retired from the Sullivan County Attorney’s office.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Saturday, September 21 from 2-4pm at VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home in Monticello, NY to celebrate Rob’s life and share memories.
