I never knew Max as an adult, except for the occasional “like” on my FB posts. My fond memories are from high school. I remember his size and and the presence he brought where ever he went. A gentle giant. As a band member, I watched his time on the field as a strong, determined and awesome athlete. But the Max I will always remember is the one I communicated with, whether in between classes or the rare times we had conversations. No matter what, Max always treated me with respect, kindness and a general concern for how I was getting along. That is the Max I remember and he will always be an amazing person to me. My deepest condolences to the family for your loss. The world has truly lost an amazing man.

Rest In Peace Max. We had great times growing up in Cherokee Park. The good memories will be with me till I see you again. Thank you for the friendship.
