You may not recognize my name. My parents, Walter and Relli Bergman, and I, Susan (Bergman) Falk were annual guests at Lake Rest from the time I was 3 til well into my 20's when they had already sold the hotel. I have many fond recollections of my summers there. My husband and I even stayed at the Huber farm with our children were young. I have returned to visit Livingston Manor on several occasions. Once in the early 2000s I visited Cathryn with my mother. It brings me tears when I remember what a nice time we had. I remember Audrey being enthralled with George Stephenopoulos and your mother whipping up a delicious frothy coffee beverage. We sat in the gazebo with a dog and reminiced and caught up to family news. My mother passed in 2004. I hope that Relli and Cathryn will share time in Heaven. My husband passed, too, much before he should have. I will always cherish my memories of your mom; she passed on my birthday. So special.
