Obituary of John Anthony Kwiatkowski

John Anthony Kwiatkowski, a retired local pharmacist, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at his home in Wolf Lake at the age of 70. The son of the late Anthony Peter Kwiatkowski and Beatrice Conklin Kwiatkowski, he was born June 10, 1947 in Goshen. John was a 1965 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School where he was a star basketball player who also excelled at baseball and was a member of the M-W Crusader Club. John also graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and was a member of the Rho Chi Society. John was also a charter member of the Rock Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps and served as the chairman of the Wolf Lake Conservation Committee as well as other committees for the Wolf Lake Community that he loved. He was a lifetime fishing and hunting enthusiast who loved being outdoors, enjoying nature in all its natural beauty. He is survived by a brother: Robert Kwiatkowski & his wife Peggy of Highland Mills, New York; a sister: Karen Latreille & her husband Robert of Smyrna, TN; along with several nieces and nephews. Family & friends are invited to gather on Monday, March 19 from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello with a prayer service starting at 6:30pm.
