Arthur James Petrowsky Sr. of Rock Hill, a lifelong resident of the area died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at home. He was 86. The son of the late John Arthur Petrowsky and Hazel Mae Allen Petrowsky, he was born August 3, 1930 in Rock Hill. He is survived by three sons: John Petrowsky of Forestburgh, Alan Petrowsky of Rock Hill, and Arthur "Jim" Petrowsky Jr. & his wife Anna "Penny" of Forestburgh; a daughter: Susan Edwards and her husband John of Bridgeville; six grandchildren: Dawndeann Marie, Alexis, Noah, Todd, Zachary and James; eight great grandchildren and one great granddaughter on the way. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Luella; two sisters: Evelyn and Clara; two brothers: Russell and John; daughter-in-law Rebecca and grandsons John & Ryan. Interment of his ashes with military honors will be held on July 2 at the Rock Hill Cemetery on Glen Wild Road in Rock Hill with Rev. Roy Shaffer officiating.
