Janice Beryle Lewis, a former resident of Bridgeville, died Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Life Care Center of Port St. Lucie, FL. She was 75. The daughter of the late Herman Wasserstein and Rose Markowitz Wasserstein, she was born June 27, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY. She is survived by her husband of 39 years: Ralph H. Lewis, at home; a stepson: Jeffrey Lewis of Stony Point, NY; a stepdaughter: Deborah Higgins & her husband Robert of Silver City, NM; three grandchildren; and a sister: Ruth Rowley of New Jersey. Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, January 15 from 11am – 1pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Her funeral service will be held on Sunday afternoon at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Sylvan Cemetery in Wurtsboro. Arrangements under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc.
