Bernice B. Quinlan of Monticello, passed away on January 4th, 2017. She was 72. Bernice was born October 20th, 1944 to Gusta Soderlund and Bernice Juliano of Montauk, NY and went on to graduate from Montauk high school. Our beloved mother was a kind hearted, housewife to her pre-deceased husband, James F. Quinlan Sr., and son James F. Quinlan Jr. Of Haverstraw, NY. Bernice is survived by her eldest son Robert Quinlan (Dawn) of Theills, NY; her two daughters, Mary Quinlan and longtime partner Ronald Kaiser of Tucson, AZ, and Bernadette and Michael Lella of Monticello. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, Ralph and James Petrichko, Tucson AZ., Robert and Sean Quinlan and youngest Michael James Lella; three great-grandchildren, Gabriella Petrichko, AZ, Anthony and Vincent Quinlan of Stony Point, NY; a niece, many nephews, sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, and friends, and her dearest lifelong friend was Barbara Bader of Stony Point, NY. Bernice was a kind, big hearted and thoughtful person that helped anyone in need. She was loved and will be truly missed. The family will be having a memorial mass for family and friends at St. Peters Catholic Church on Broadway in the Village of Monticello NY on Saturday, January 14th, 2017 at 1:00pm.
