Judith Fay Armstead of Monticello went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 61. The daughter of the late Charlie Leon Armstead and Pauline Martin Armstead, she was born August 9, 1955 in Monticello. She is survived by her children: Osheita Weygant of Bennington, VT, Cornelius Armstead, Davelle Armstead, Tristian Tillman and Avinga Armstead, all of Monticello; her grandchildren: Jeremiah, Elijah, Adam & Valencia; brothers & sisters: Jeffrey Armstead (Dee) of Ashland City, TN, Janet Grimball (Harold) of Liberty, Ms. Linda Watkins of Greenwood, FL, Freida Evans (Donald) of Greenwood, FL and James Armstead (Yvette) of Vineland, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13 from 11am-12pm at the Bethlehem Temple Church, 93 Fairground Road in Monticello with a funeral service starting at 12 noon at the church. Burial will follow at the Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello. Arrangements are under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc.
