Obituary of Naika Brown

Naika Brown of Columbus Ohio, formerly of Monticello NY was born on April 6th 1970 to Wayne Brown and the late Virginia Horace Brown in Middletown New York. She began her journey of self-improvement in Ohio and overcame many obstacles that were thrown her way and transformed her life for the better. She figured what better way to make amends but to reach out to as many people who were exposed to a path of destruction such as hers. Naika took pride in her friendships that they became family. With a heart of gold, tongue like a sword, and love from very many. Naika leaves to cherish her memory her father Wayne Brown of NY, daughters Shamhrial Brown and Korey Jones; sons Zarius Brown, Dorian Alston and Deandre Johnson; five beloved grandchildren Aiyanna ,Samiya, Zaion , Aiden and Quarry; her 2 sisters; 2 nieces and 2 nephews; and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her older sister Faye Brown. Naika leaves behind a legacy of a life freely lived, and many dreams fulfilled. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, December 30 at 12:00 noon at the Bethlehem Temple Church, 93 Fairground Road in Monticello. Family & friends are invited to gather at the church from 10am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at the Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.
