Mildred Mae Vandermark of Monticello, a retired chambermaid at the Raleigh Hotel in South Fallsburg, died Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 92.
The daughter of the late Timothy and Delilah Doolittle, she was born March 24, 1924 in Middletown. She was the widow of James Vandermark who predeceased her in 1969.
Millie is survived by a daughter: Judy Saunders & her husband Walter of Monticello; two sons: James Vandermark & his wife Dianne of Livingston, TX, and Thomas Vandermark & Carol of Hurleyville; 22 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and in-laws; and her many friends at Regency Manor. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three sons: Robert, Ronald and Timothy; nine brothers; and three sisters.
Family & friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, December 20 from 1-3pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello, with a service starting at 2:30. Burial will follow at the Rock Ridge Cemetery in Monticello.
