Jerry Edward Oparski of Bloomingburg, died Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo. He was 51. The son of Marianna Jurkiewicz Oparski and the late Edward Oparski, he was born February 21, 1965 in Jersey City, NJ. He is survived by his mother: Marianna; a sister: Julita; and several cousins, both here and in Poland. Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, November 18 from 5-8pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 19 at 2:00pm at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 17 High street in Bloomingburg with Fr. Paul Denault officiating. Burial will follow at the Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
