Obituary of Michele Interrante

Michele Interrante of Mountain Dale, NY, a retired furniture warehouse supervisor from Brooklyn, died Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Wayne, NJ. He was 77. The son of the late Girolamo Interrante and Anna Catanzaro Interrante, he was born November 5, 1938 in Sciacca, Sicily, Italy. He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Lucia Catanzaro Interrante, at home; three daughters: Anna Fichera & her husband Frank of Washingtonville, Maddalena Antonsiewicz & her husband Dino of Ridgewood, NJ, and Gina McDade & her husband William of Ramsey, NJ; grandchildren: Melissa (Thomas), Justine, Denise, Michael, Emily, William, Andrew and James; two brothers: Salvatore and Giuseppe; three sisters: Lilla, Maria and Concetta; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Vincenzo. Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, October 13 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 14 at 10am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 180 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with Fr.
