Obituary of Cynthia Ann Hall

Cynthia Ann Hall of Wurtsboro, a retired art educator for the Monticello Central Schools, died Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 58. The daughter of the late Rochester Hall Sr. and Florence Louise Hall, she was born November 13, 1957 in Newark, NJ. Cynthia worked for the Monticello School District for many years and was a member of The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston Massachusetts, and a former member of the First Church of Christ Scientist, Middletown NY. She was also a member of the Wurtsboro Arts Alliance. She is survived by three brothers: Rochester Hall Jr. of Riverdale, the Bronx, NY, Paris R. Hall Sr. & his wife Hollie of Wurtsboro, NY, and Michael Hall of Stamford, CT; three sisters: Martha Dismont of Pembroke, Bermuda, Patricia E. Hall of Wurtsboro NY, and Marsha L. Hall of Maine; Nieces: Aruna Dismont of Pembroke, Bermuda; Courtny Boston, her husband Kevin Boston & daughter Kaylah Boston of Lawrenceville, GA; Nephews: Paris R. Hall Jr., his wife Abigail, & daughter Zahra of Ossining, NY; Keenan Hall & his wife Lauren of Scotchtown, NY. Aunts: Anna Butler, Orange NJ, Pearl Hall, Newark, NJ. She was predeceased by her parents, Florence and Rochester Hall, Sr. and her brother, Nelson Hall. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, September 24 from 1-2pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with a service starting at 2:00pm. Interment of her ashes will follow at the Sylvan Cemetery in Wurtsboro.
