Grace Louise Lucas of Monticello died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Skilled Nursing Unit at CRMC in Harris. She was 95.
The daughter of the late Muriel and James Daily, she was born April 1, 1921 in Harlem. She lived in Westchester County, NY where she worked at the Valhalla School until she retired, and then settled in Monticello.
She is survived by her two daughters: Billie Waterton and Kecia Lucas; her son: Michael Lucas; her grandsons William, Evan, Logan, Grayson, Mathew and Nicholas; and her granddaughters Isabella and Ty-zha.
Family & friends are invited to gather on Sunday, September 4 from 2:00 to 4:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. A funeral service will be held at 4pm at the funeral home with Pastor Melvin Boone officiating.
