Anthony James Marotta, a former roofer and longtime resident of the area, died Saturday, April 27, 2013 at his home in Summitville. He was 35. The son of Sharon Klein Marotta and the late James J. Marotta, he was born September 27, 1977 in the Bronx. He is survived by his mother: Sharon Marotta, at home; two brothers: James Marotta & his companion Madeline of Denver, CO and Jeff Marotta & his wife Amanda of Atlantic City, NJ; a niece: Jenna; his aunts: Titi Ann and Titi Candy; his uncles: Robert, Gary, Kenny, Frank (Jill) and Jeff Klein; and many cousins including Freddie, Stephanie (Duane) and Adam Marotta. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his maternal grandparents: Florence and Frank Klein; his paternal grandparents: Josephine and Dominick Marotta; aunt Lori Klein, and uncles Fred Marotta and Dave Klein. Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, May 3 from 3-7pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. A prayer service will be held at some time in the evening.
