Obituary of Lana E. Scott

Lana E. Scott, 68, of Mongaup Valley, NY, beloved Mother and Grandmother, entered the arms of the Lord too soon on July 16, 2016. She is predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Helen Scott, and her brother Larry Scott. Lana had a gentle nature and lived for her children and grandchildren. Her second love was animals. Lana did not require the extravagances of life. Spending time with her children and grandchildren and spoiling animals is what made her happiest. There isn't anything that she wouldn't do for her children. Her presence has left a huge hole in the hearts of those who knew her and those that knew her loved her. The world was a better place with her in it. She is survived by her daughter, Angel LaChance of Clifton Park, NY, sons Ronnie LaChance and daughter-in-law Kim Lemke of Mongaup Valley, NY and Rick LaChance and daughter-in-law Jennifer Keeler of Otisville, NY, Grandchildren Kristen DeVito, Brandon LaChance, Alyssa LaChance, Dylan LaChance, Skylar LaChance, Joshua Wickstead, Sean LaChance, Faith LaChance, soon to be Great Grandson Carson Thomsen, Brother Daniel Scott and family, as well as several nieces and nephews. Family & friends are invited to gather on Friday, July 22 from 10am to 1pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro.
