Jeremiah Sutherland of Monticello, New York, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 75 years of age.
Jeremiah was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 7th, 1940. He was the son of Geraldine and Zephaniah Sutherland. He was one of four children.
He attended Boys High School in Brooklyn, New York.
Jeremiah met and married Theresa. From that union they had one child, a daughter, Denise.
Jeremiah worked at Entenmann’s Bakery for several years before moving to Monticello, where he worked at various hotels.
Jeremiah was a God fearing man who loved life. His greatest joy was helping others whenever he could.
Jeremiah leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Theresa; daughter Denise; Granddaughter, Jasmine; two sisters, Emily and Geraldine; Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, Sister-in-law and Brother-in-Law, as well as a host of friends he met along the way during his journey.
