Obituary of Rosemary Sullivan

Please share a memory of Rosemary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Rosemary Sullivan passed away April 15, 2016, at the age of 75 years old. She died peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Rosemary was born and raised in Bronx, NY to Joseph and Marion Stern. Rose met the love of her life Jerry Sullivan at an early age and together had a collaborative and caring relationship that made a positive mark on those close to them. Rose and her family moved to the Catskills where she worked at Kutsher's Country Club for 25 years. No one is ordinary; each person has a special gift that they have brought to life and Rosemary was a special gift to our lives. Rose was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with her family, her husband, her son Jerry Sullivan Jr., daughter Marion, grandchildren Jerry (third of his name), Amanda Sullivan, Lance McCauley and BobbiJo McCauley. Her children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of Rose's life and there was nothing she wouldn't do for them. The legacy of her tough and kind spirit, love of family, and zest for life will live on through all of them. There will be a memorial mass held at St. Peters Church in Monticello where all are welcome to join the family on Friday April 22, 2016 at 10:00am. Rose donated monthly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and was an active supporter of children with cancer; her family would like to suggest for others to continue donating in her memory. Information can be found at: www.stjude.org/ Rosemary will be missed dearly, but not forgotten. Arrangements are under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home of Monticello.
