Please share a memory of Richard to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Richard J. Gallo Sr, "Rick," a lifetime resident of Bloomingburg, passed away unexpectedly on April 12, 2016.
The son of John and Ruth Gallo, he was born June 4, 1962 in Suffern, NY. He was 53 years old.
Rick proudly served his country in the US Navy on board the USS FULTON (AS-11). Rick was an avid fisherman and hunter as well as a very talented craftsman. He was known as an outdoorsman. You would always find him up at the crack of dawn on opening day of deer season and trout season. Rick had a natural talent for creating things out of wood. His works of art will be cherished by many family members.
Rick is survived by his parents, John and Ruth Gallo; his wife, Valerie; two sons, Richard, Jr., and Justin & his fiancé, Heather Gendron. He is also survived by the two loves of his life, granddaughters, Aubrey and Riley; two sisters, Diane Farris & husband Karl, and Dale Keesler & husband Joel; four nieces Kristen Farris-Bruyn, Samantha Keesler, Jessica Keesler, and Kaitlyn Keesler-Masino; one nephew Jeffrey Farris; three great-nieces Kennedie Masino, Ariana Masino and Ellie Bruyn; and one great-nephew Preston Bruyn.
