Obituary of Grace M. Arezzi

Grace M. Arezzi of Wurtsboro, a retired quality control office for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in Brooklyn, died Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 90. The daughter of the late Eugene DeLage and Murreta Germain DeLage, she was born June 23, 1925 in Winooski, Vermont. She was the widow of John Thomas Arezzi. Grace was a dedicated member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church for many years. She belonged to clubs such as the Red Hat Society Club, The Wolf Lake Community and Wii Bowling Team. Grace's strong and witty personality was well-known by many in the community. She enjoyed dancing, going to the movies, baking, cooking and gambling at the casino. Most of all she enjoyed her family. Grace is survived by her grandchildren William McCormick, Graelen McCormick, Timothy McCormick, Isa Arroyo and her great-grandchildren Ariana McCormick, Robert Marion, Dante Marion and Kayla Resto. She is preceded in death by her son William E. McCormick. Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, April 7 from 11am-1pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 1:30pm at St. Joseph's Church, 180 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with Fr. Peter Madori officiating. Cremation will follow and interment of her ashes will be held at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery in Liberty at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc.
