Obituary of Robert L. Paramore

Robert L. Paramore, a former weather observer at the Sullivan County Airport in Bethel and a retiree from the Dept of Public Works, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 24, 2016 at his home in Monticello unexpectedly with his wife by his side. He was 75. The son of the late Benjamin Paramore & Donna Jenkins, he was born October 19, 1940 in Marianna, FL. He later moved to Monticello, NY in 1960. He met and married the love of his life, Minnie B. Walker on September 23, 1961. To this union was born seven children. Min. Paramore was a member of Bethlehem Temple Church under the late Pastor Martha Finn and Pastor Mervin Armstead. He served in whatever capacity needed until he was no longer able to attend service. He will be greatly missed by his family, church family and friends. He was predeceased by both parents, a sister Glen Jenkins,a brother Jeffery Jenkins and one granddaughter Lauren Williams. He leaves to cherish his memory forever his wife of 54 years Minnie, two brothers Benjamin Paramore and Joseph Jenkins and one sister Bernice Paramore all of Miami,FL,three sons,RobertJr,Russell(Kathleen) Bronx,NY and Roland(Tonya) Chesapeake Bay MD, four daughter's, Roslyn Raleigh,NC, Rachelle Atlanta ,GA, Renee(Timothy) Garner,NC and Robyn Atlanta,GA. His oldest grandchildren he helped raised, Lakeith and Lacey, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, in laws, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 30 at 12:00 noon at the Bethlehem Temple Church, 93 Fairground Road in Monticello. Viewing will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the church. Burial will follow at Rock Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home of Monticello.
