Agnes Harris Kukas, age 67, died February 11, 2016 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. The daughter of John "Jack" Harris and Irene McCaffery Harris, she was born June 9, 1948 in Monticello. She was the widow of Benjamin Kukas.
In her earlier years, she worked at the New York Telephone Company but for the last 30 years, she worked at Harris, Monti & McLaughlin Insurance in Monticello. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and served on the board of the Harris Brookside Cemetery.
She is survived by her four children: Michael & his wife Nikki, Matthew, Benjamin Jay, and Susan Carnell & her husband Mark, all of Monticello. She is also survived by her two grandchildren: Madison and Blayre Carnell, brothers: James Harris & his wife Blanche of Davidson, NC, and Kirkland Harris & his wife Marie of Monticello; and many nieces and nephews.
Per her wishes, there will be no funeral services. However the family invites you to join them on Sunday, February 14 from 2pm to 4pm at the Harris Residence, 300 Cooper Corners Road in Monticello.
