Obituary of Patricia Ann McCoy

Patricia Ann McCoy was born on April 2, 1950 in Monticello, NY, to the late Alfred Henry McCoy and Anna Mae Wright McCoy. On Saturday, December 19, 2015, surrounded by her loving children, Patricia departed this life and an angelic host escorted her home. Patricia, lovingly known as Patsy, attended the Monticello Central Schools and graduated from Monticello High School in 1968. She furthered her education and graduated from Hudson Valley Community College as a Seamstress. Patsy was employed by various agencies during her years in Monticello. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Alfred Henry and Anna Mae McCoy; four brothers, Mal, Alfred, Gerald and Douglas McCoy; two sisters, Willa Mae Wright and Marie Henrietta McCoy Patton; and one grandlover (son) Khemra As Anu Berg. She leaves to cherish her life and legacy: Eric Ludwig Berg of Monticello, NY; two sons, Matthew “Khepra Anu” Berg (Beverly) of Washington, DC and Dominic Berg (Lisa) of Pleasanton, CA; two daughters, Shannon (Amir) Henry of Winston Salem, NC. and Heather (Michael) Banks of Monticello, NY; six grandlovers (daughters) Samaya Skye and Yazi Blu Berg, Ynez and Ysanna Jones, Ayana and Chelsea Banks; six grandlovers (sons), Phoenix Sol Anu and Miles Von Berg, Amir and Xavier Henry, and Aiden and Adrien Banks; four sisters, Glennys Ashley and Sherryl (William) McNeal of Monticello, NY; Martha (Allen) Malone of Huachuca City, AZ, and Lessie Octavia Gandy of Richmond, VA; two brothers, Wayne McCoy of Tucson, AZ, and Barry McCoy of Liberty, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 24 at 11:00am at the Bethlehem Temple Church, 93 Fairground Road in Monticello. Viewing will be from 10-11am at the church.
