Susanna Sage of Wurtsboro, a retired local bookkeeper for several area businesses, died Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Elant at Meadow Hill in Newburgh. She was 93.
The daughter of the late Emanuel Friedrich and Ida Berner Friedrich, she was born December 25, 1921 in Germany. She was the widow of Francis A. Sage who predeceased her in 1963.
She is survived by a son: Frank Sage of Thailand; a daughter: Sibylle Tulve & her husband Nicholas of Newburgh; two grandchildren: Nicolle Tulve & her husband James Ash of North Carolina, and Matthew Tulve & his wife Renee of California. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother: Willibald Friedrich; and a sister: Ruth Leifke
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of personal choice.
