Obituary of Georgina A. Espinosa

Please share a memory of Georgina to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Georgina A. Espinosa passed into eternal life and her just reward at 9:41AM, Friday October 9, 2015. Her life was a life spent in sacrificial service to her family and others. Her life was a constant prayer for the salvation of souls. She lived a fiercely devout Catholic life and prayed constantly. She taught her five sons to pray the rosary every day as family and when it was just her and dad, they would pray the rosary every night for the same intentions mentioned above. Mom was selfless and always put everyone else before herself, but none before her faith and our God. Though prudence demands that we pray for her soul, I strongly feel that the terrible suffering of the last few weeks was a cleansing gift from Jesus and that the moment mom stepped out of time she stepped into the arms of our Lady, our Lord, and saw for the very first time the face of God. So, if you are a devout Catholic please pray a rosary and offer a Mass for her soul. If you are a lapsed Catholic or any other Christian faith, please pray for her soul. If you have no faith, pray for her anyway for it won't hurt you and it will be beneficial for her I think. Gabriel, her oldest. Family & friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, October 14 from 6-9pm and on Thursday, October 15 from 2-4 & 6-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 16 at 11:30am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 149 Cottage Street in Middletown. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in Forestburgh. Arrangements under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home of Monticello.
