Kelly A. Buchman of Rock Hill passed away Monday, September 7, 2015 after a 10 year battle with breast cancer. She was 49. The daughter of the late Emerson Morse II and Joan Morse, she was born January 1, 1966 in Newburgh. She was the widow of Craig Buchman who predeceased her on May 16, 2014. When diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, she remained dedicated to her family and her will to fight her illness. She remained a brave, iron-willed woman, even throughout her final months. She insisted that those who knew and loved her celebrate her life. She is survived by her daughter: Melinda Gwiozdowski & her husband Kris of Rock Hill; a granddaughter: Ava; her mother: Joan Morse of Rock Hill; three brothers: Emerson Morse III (Peggy) of Ghent, Carl Morse (Lorraine) of Putnam Valley, and Tom Morse (Debbie) of Wurtsboro; and several nieces, nephews and friends. Family & friends are invited to gather on Monday, September 14 from 3-6pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. A memorial service will follow at 6pm at the funeral home with Rev. Roy Shaffer officiating. Following the service friends and family will be gathering at the Rock Hill Fire House to honor Kelly's life. Memorial contributions can be made to the IPIF in honor of her beloved granddaughter Ava at 78 Saint Moritz Drive, Erial, NJ 08081 Arrangements under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc.
