Obituary of Wayne E. Brasington

Wayne Ernest Brasington of Rock Hill, a retired heavy equipment operator for the New York State Department of Transportation, died Friday, August 14, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern.
The son of the late Warren Brasington and Nellie Mae Markle Brasington, he was born November 25, 1935 in Rock Hill.
Survivors include his wife: Marlene Wright Brasington, at home; two daughters: Marlene Cirone & her husband Joseph, and Betsy; four grandchildren: Nicole (Tim) Mongin, Cassandra (Joseph) Babcock, Cono Cirone and Spencer; three great grandchildren: Adam, Molly and Alex; a brother: Leon Brasington & his wife Alice; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, August 19 from 12-2pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. His funeral service will begin at 2pm at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at the Rock Hill Cemetery.
