Obituary of Ellois J. Greene

Ellois J. Greene, entered her eternal home on March 26. 2013 at the age of 90. She spent most of her life helping others, by most recently being a reading grandma at Monticello Central School. After the death of her beloved husband, James in 2004, she spent countless hours teaching young children how to read. She leaves to mourn her death, a loving and devoted sister, whom she talked to daily; Grace; 4 children: Michael Session, Gayle Jones, Kenneth Hughes, and Barbara Greene; Terry Santos, her fifth child precedes her in death. There are also a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and loved ones left, not to mourn, but celebrate her life. There will be a private family viewing, followed by a public wake from 11am to 12pm Monday, April 1, 2013 at VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, located at 401 Broadway, Monticello, NY. Her funeral service will follow at 12pm. Mrs. Greene's internment will be conducted with a private family ceremony on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
