Larry L. Armstead was born on March 29, 1958 in Monticello, NY. Early Monday morning on July 6, 2015, he entered into eternal rest surrounded by his family at home in Middletown, NY. He was 57.
Larry was the youngest child born to the late David Armstead Sr. and Olivia Armstead. He graduated from Monticello Central School District, and enjoyed listening to "hip hop" and rhythm and blues music, but he also enjoyed listening to spiritual music. His trade was masonry work and was a member of Local 17, working on various local highway construction jobs until his sickness. He had a big heart and would help anybody that was in need.
Larry leaves to cherish his memories, his companion of 22 years: Vera Rudolph; a daughter Tynae Kamari Armstead; sisters Iola Armstead and Queen McFadden; and brother David Armstead Jr.; uncles, aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family & friends are invited to gather on Saturday, July 18 from 10-11am at the Bethlehem Temple Church, 93 Fairground Road in Monticello. His funeral service will begin at 11am at the church.
