Agnes Theresa Rupp of Monticello, a former clerk for Great American Supermarket in Monticello, died Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. She was 76. The daughter of the late Andrew James Taggart and Ida Marie Avery Taggart, she was born August 25, 1938 in Monticello, NY. She was the widow of Frank E. Rupp Sr. Agnes was a kind and caring wife, mother, aunt, friend and grandmother. She believed in the importance of family. She went to every family function that she could and always spent time catching up with each families' news and accomplishments. She had her share of sorrows and joys but she always appreciated a good laugh. Agnes was so very proud of her two granddaughters. She will be dearly missed. Agnes is survived by a son: Frank E. Rupp Jr. & his wife Karen of Forestburgh; two granddaughters: Brittany and Calley; Calley's mother Lesley Potts of Hannacroix, NY; a brother: George Taggart of Wilkes Barrie, PA; a sister: Lenora Magie & her husband Walt of Monticello; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons: Allen G. Rupp and Gerald M. Rupp; and brothers: Andrew, Stanley, Robert, William, Frank and James. Graveside services with burial of her ashes will be held on Saturday, June 20 at 2pm at the Glen Wild Cemetery, Marsh Road in Glen Wild. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home of Monticello.
