Charles Edward Barnier, a school bus driver for the Monticello Central Schools, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at his home in Cochecton. He was 71.
The son of the late Robert Barnier and Esther Williams Cillis, he was born November 22, 1943 in Queens.
He enjoyed antiques and collectables, going to many yard sales and auctions.
He is survived by a son: Joseph C. Barnier of Hawley, PA; a daughter: Jennifer Morgan & her husband Rick of Glen Spey; two granddaughters: Reece and Brooke; and nephews: Robert Barnier Jr. and Richard Barnier, both from Missouri.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, May 13 from 5-7pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. A funeral service will be held at 7pm at the funeral home.
