Michael Nolan of Wurtsboro, died April 9, 2015 in East Palatka, Florida. He was 97. The son of the late Patrick and Bridget Nolan, he was born October 4, 1917 in Ireland. Michael was a WWII veteran in the Royal Air Force. He was the owner and operator of the Old McDonald Campground and C&M Forklift Corporation. A communicant at St. Joseph's Church in Wurtsboro, he was a member of the Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus, as well as the Mamakating Lions Club and Moose Lodge. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be always and forever in our prayers. He is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife: Catherine; and his brothers and sister. Interment of his ashes will be held on Saturday, May 9 at 2pm at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Brook Lane in Wurtsboro. Arrangements under the direction of the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc.
