Katherine M. Bordowski passed away April 24, 2015 at the Valley View Nursing Center in Goshen NY. Katherine was a courageous woman, who fought a twenty six year battle Multiple Sclerosis. She fought her battle with dignity right up to her last breath.
Katherine was born on October 7, 1954 in Brooklyn NY, the daughter of the late Laura Gilleo and Edward Bordowski. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter and best friend, Amy Bordowski and her long- time companion Gregory Chiarella. She also leaves behind her "pals" Anthony Chiarella and Deja Smith.
I would like to extend a special thanks on Katherine's behalf to her family and friends at the Valley View Center in Goshen NY. Katherine resided at Valley View since 2006. In that time she grew to know Valley View as her home. I cannot express in words the amazing care and love she received from everyone there. I know so many will remember "Kat" and her contagious smile and need to always be in fashion.
There will be no service, cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
