Bruce Alan Brophy, a greenhouse manager for Adams Fairacre Farms in Newburgh, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his home in Bloomingburg surrounded by his loving family. He was 61.
The son of the late John Brophy and Beverly Leng Brophy, he was born April 19, 1951 in Teaneck, NJ.
Bruce was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife: Taesoon Jung Brophy, at home; two sons: Peter Brophy of Binghamton and Lucas Brophy of Bloomingburg; and a sister: Jeanne Kleiner and her husband David of Gettysburg, PA.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, March 23 from 6-7pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. A memorial service will be held on Saturday evening at 7pm at the funeral home.
