Michael Joseph Colombo of Wurtsboro, entered into eternal peace on April 3, 2015, going to rest in the arms of his Heavenly Father. He fought valiantly until the end.
The son of the late Peter Eugene Colombo and Virginia Bianco Colombo, he was born December 27, 1952 in Newburgh.
Michael was an avid hunter, fisherman, professional tinkerer and to those who knew him best, a passionate chef. He was forever experimenting and loved to share his creations. He could fix anything and loved to build everything he could. He was known by many for his sparkling eyes, quick wit and his heart of gold.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Catherine Aulogia Colombo, his loving daughter, Ashley, his baby girl, "Abbadoodle", and family and friends.
Family & friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, April 8 from 4-6pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. A prayer service will he held at 6pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the immediate family would be appreciated at PO Box 512, Wurtsboro, NY 12790.
