Bill. You will be greatly missed. Even though You suffered many trials and tribulations in Your life, You maintained a great personality and sense of humor. People can learn a lot from Your life about how to be grateful for the little things. I always had a tremendous amount of respect for you. My sincerest condolences to all. I am sure that You were greeted in Heaven with Many open arms. You will be forever remembered as great guy. It was with sadness that I heard of Bill's passing. My memories of Bill span my lifetime. As early playmates when our families lived across the street from one another, as teenagers at family gatherings, and later receiving an occasional letter from Bill as he served as a young Marine.
I am so grateful that I was able to visit Bill with Bonnie in the summer of 2013. So many years had passed by, at first Bill didn't recognize who this "older" woman was with Bonnie. Once Bonnie mentioned my name, Bill was all smiles and I had tears in my eyes. Bill's good nature and humorous personality shined through that day as evidenced when I attempted to take a good cell phone picture of the three of us.
My thoughts and prayers are with Bonnie, Roberta, and their families as they lay Bill to rest. All who were fortunate enough to meet Bill will always remember him with fondness.
Love,
Kathy
