Janice Rennison DePace of Forestburgh, a retired telephone operator for AT&T, died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 74.
The daughter of the late James Rennison and Ruby Briggs Rennison, she was born November 14, 1940 in Liberty.
Janice was member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Monticello and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years: Thomas M. DePace, at home; a son: Thomas J. DePace and his fiancé Karen of Savannah, GA; a daughter: Tina DePace of Monticello; a granddaughter: Karilee Long of Savannah, GA; two sisters: Linda Evron and Karilee Dahl, both of Rhode Island; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother: James Rennison of Grahamsville.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, December 7 from 4-7pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8 at 11:30am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Monticello.
