Brittany Marie Beckmann of Forestburgh died Monday, August 25, 2014 at the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla after a courageous battle with Leukemia. She was 24.
Brittany was born in Harris on August 19, 1990 and went on to Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from SUNY Cortland while undergoing treatment. She was a graduate of Monticello High School. She loves music, creating art, rock climbing, cliff jumping, scary movies, but most of all her friends, family and her pups.
She is survived by her Mom and Dad: Kelly McGrath Carpinone & Michael Carpinone, at home; a sister: Ashley Beckmann; two brothers: Brandon Beckmann and Michael Carpinone; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, Grandparents and friends as well as her father: William Beckmann of Monticello.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering on Friday, August 29 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation(wish.org)
