Arthur Thomas Maresca Jr. of Monticello, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the Westchester Co. Medical Center in Valhalla. He was 67. The son of the late Arthur T. Maresca Sr. and Mary Dorcy Maresca, he was born July 11, 1946 in Brooklyn. Art was a retired machinist for VAW in Ellenville and was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his wife: Linda at home; two sons: Adam Maresca & his wife Millie of Florida, and Aaron Maresca of Pennsylvania; a daughter: Kerry Chenier & her husband Joe of Kingston; seven grandchildren: Darius, Lindsay, Preston, Sam, Andrew, Catherine and Jacob; a brother: John Maresca of Flemington, NJ; and a nephew: Brian. Family & friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, June 18 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. Burial of his ashes with military honors will follow at the Sullivan Co. Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Road in Liberty. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Westchester Co. Medical Center Foundation-Transplant, 100 Woods Road, Taylor Pavilion, Suite C320, Valhalla, NY 10595. Please indicate "In Memory of Arthur Maresca Jr. - Transplant".
