Obituary of John Thomas Collette

Robert Wayne Covart of Monticello, a foreman for Thompson Sanitation in Rock Hill, and lifelong resident of the area, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the Catskill Regional Medical center in Harris. He was 65. The son of the late Robert Covart and Ruth Hill Covart, he was born April 14, 1949 in Eldred. Bob was a Vietnam veteran and will be missed by his wife: Eva; his daughters: Shannon and Julie; stepdaughter: Eunice; his sisters: Linda, Allison, Shelli, Donna and Roberta; granddaughters: Ruby and Diana; and many cousins and friends. He will also be missed by his two dogs: Toby and Foxy. He was a fun loving person, and loved hunting and fishing. Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, June 27 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral home, 401 Broadway in Monticello. Interment of his ashes with military honors will be held at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Road in Liberty on Monday, June 30 at 3pm.
