Obituary of Pamela A. Paynter

Pamela A. Paynter, a retired nursing assistant and former resident of Bloomingburg, died Saturday, May 24, 2014 in Conway, South Carolina where she has lived for nine years. She was 69.
The daughter of the late Robert and Mayla Eden and, she was born October 19, 1944 in Pomona, NJ.
Mrs. Paynter was a former member of the Community Church of Wurtsboro and the Bloomingburg Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She was the widow of Richard Paynter who predeceased her on September 1, 1987.
She is survived by a daughter: Susan Curry of New Hampton; a son: Peter Curry of Conway, SC; seven grandchildren: Raymond, Jake, Michael, Steven, Michael, Melissa and Richard; three great grandsons: Lawrence, Logan and Cameron; a brother: Robert Eden of Akron, OH; and a sister: Pat Cross of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, May 30 from 10:00am to 12:00 noon at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro. Her funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
